Specimens examined. One female. Peru, Departamento Huánuco, Yuyapichis, ACP Panguana , 9°37’S, 74°56’W, 230 m a.s.l., Winkler extraction, 20 September to 7 October 2013, leg. S. Friedrich & F. Wachtel. GoogleMaps
Notes. This species was described in the large and inclusive genus Trichouropoda , but it differs in many characters in the Trichouropoda sensu stricto, so a revision of this species and the revision of the genera of the Trematuridae seem to be necessary. This is the first record of this species in Peru.
