ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1861e: 99 (key), 103 (description).

TYPE LOCALITY: “ in collibus agri parmensis [ Parmese hills ( Italy)]” .

TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♀, syntype ( MZUF: Box 16): Phoricheta Rnd. / tricincta Rnd. / 843.

CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Ramonda spathulata ( Fallén, 1820) ( Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993: 379) .

REMARKS: Rondani (1861e: 103) described Phoricheta tricincta without specifying the number , the sex or the length of the specimens. We found one syntype in this study.
