CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Halidayina spinipennis (Haliday, 1836) ( Roháček 1983: 155, Papp 1984: 85); junior synonym of Gonioneura spinipennis (Haliday, 1836) ( Roháček et al. 2001a: 147) .

REMARKS: Rondani (1880: 25) described Limosina akka without specifying either the number or the sex of the specimens, but giving a single measurement of length, from material he had collected and also received from F. Kowarz. In the MZUF there is an empty pin numbered “1926”. Roháček (1983: 155) designated a lectotype (♂) and paralectotype (2 ♂♂, 5 ♀♀, 1 specimen, sex not determinable) but did not mention an additional two males, five females and two specimens in the MZUF (all are paralectotypes). We considered as a paralectotype not examined one specimen labeled Bozen (formerly the Austro-Hungarian Empire, now Italy).
