TYPE LOCALITY: “ in Bohemia [ Bohemia ( Czech Republic)]”.
TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂, lectotype (double-mounted: fastened by a micro pin to a polyethylene foam block on a standard insect pin) ( MZUF: Box 36): Limosina Macq. / exigua Rndn. / 1929 / Asch 3 1872 / Lectotypus Limosina nana Rond. , ♂, J. Roháček des., 1979 / Limosina fungicola Hal., J. Roháček det.
PARALECTOTYPES EXAMINED: 1 ♂ (missing head, terminalia pinned below specimen, double-mounted: fastened by a micro pin to a polyethylene foam block on a standard insect pin), 1 ♀ (double-mounted: fastened by a micro pin to a polyethylene foam block on a standard insect pin) ( MZUF: Box 36): Limosina Macq. / exigua Rndn. / 1929 / Asch 3 1872 / Paralectotypus Limosina nana Rond. , ♂, J. Roháček des., 1979 / Limosina fungicola Hal., J. Roháček det.
CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Limosina fungicola Haliday, 1836 ( Papp 1984d: 98) View in CoL ; junior synonym of Minilimosina fungicola (Haliday, 1836) View in CoL ( Roháček 1983: 39, Roháček et al. 2001a: 164).
REMARKS: Rondani (1880: 26) described Limosina exigua without specifying either the number or the sex of the specimens and not giving a range of lengths, from material received from F. Kowarz. Roháček (1983: 39) designated a lectotype (♂) and paralectotypes (1 ♂, 1 ♀).
