TYPE MATERIAL: 5 ♂♂, syntypes ( MZUF: Box 4): Eumerus Mgn / argyropus Lw. exilipes Rnd. , ♂ / 127; 3 ♀♀, syntypes ( MZUF: Box 4): Eumerus Mgn / argyropus Lw. exilipes Rnd. , ♀ / 127.
CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Eumerus argyropus ( Loew, 1848) View in CoL ( Peck 1988: 154, Belcari et al. 1995a: 14).
REMARKS: Rondani (1850a: 121) described both sexes of Eumerus exilipes without specifying the exact number of specimens and not giving a range of lengths, but presumably from more than one specimen because he reported: “ non rarus [not rare]”. We found eight syntypes in this study.
