CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Onesia sepulcralis ( Meigen, 1826) ( Schumann 1986: 34) View in CoL ; junior synonym of Onesia floralis Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 View in CoL ( Pape et al. 1995: 9).

REMARKS: Rondani (1862d: 182) described Onesia subapennina without specifying the number , the sex or the length of the specimens. Sixteen syntypes were found in this study.
