REMARKS: Meigen (1830: 268) described the species Cecidomyia albitarsis , which O’Hara et al. (2011: 150) incorrectly attributed to Rondani. Rondani (1840b: 13) transferred C. albitarsis to the genus Porricondyla , without indicating the author of the species.
