TYPE LOCALITY: Philippines, Calamian Isis., Culion Isl .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENT: Includes albicauda; see Matschie, 1898; albicauda was listed as a distinct species by Corbet and Hill, 1980, without comment. Member of the steerii group (LRH).
