Aphidura bharatia David, Sekhon & Bindra 1970 View in CoL = Aphidura ornatella Narzikulov & Winkler 1960
Aphidura bahratia was described from Saponaria in northwest India, and A. ornatella from Silene in Tajikistan. After examining a paratype aptera of A. bahratia in the BMNH collection, and comparing the published descriptions, measurements and illustrations, we conclude that they are the same species. Particular features are the extensive dark dorsal shield, the long, dark and distinctly clavate siphunculi, and the welldeveloped mesosternal processes.
