Diagnosis. Miltochrista curvifascia is distinct from both of its closely similar species i.e., M. pseudoarcuata and M. paraarcuata by the male genitalia with uncus thicker; valva with distal saccular process leaf like, without any spinal appendage, and the membranous lobe of distal costal process is conspicuously shorter whereas, in male genitalia of M. pseudoarcuata and M. paraarcuata , distal saccular process of valva is trifurcated apically. In the female genitalia of M. curvifascia ( Fig. 31 View FIGURES 29–32. 29–30 ), papilla analis is rectangular and weakly setosed; apophyses thin and moderately elongate; ostium bursae is sclerotised, broad funnel shaped; anterior part of corpus bursae sclerotised, bearing small to long sclerotised spines arranged in almost circular shape, extending over the appendix bursae, posterior half oblong with numerous small spinules whereas in M. paraarcuata ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 29–32. 29–30 ) ostium bursae is weakly sclerotised, small and narrow; anterior part of corpus bursae sclerotised, bearing small to long sclerotised spines arranged in elongate v shape extending towards the posterior part of corpus bursae, posterior half almost rounded.
Distribution. South India (Tamil Nadu and Kerala) ( Volynkin & Huang 2022), Odisha (present study).
Remark. Records from Sikkim ( Volynkin & Huang 2022) are doubtful.
