Notes

Authority: Kato 1925; Not from India: Metcalf (1963) stated "India, Ceylon" in reference to Schumacher 1915 who listed the "wide distribution" of Cryptotympana intermedia . Kato (1925) subsequently described this as a new species - C. takasagona , which has not been recorded on the Indian subcontinent.
