STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang by Ege (1939: 88).

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. South and East African watersheds and adjacent oceanic waters east to Caroline, Mariana and Marquesas islands, north to southern Japan, south to South Australia and New Caledonia, 0–3000 m. Freshwater, transitional water and marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang by Kailola (1975: 14). KFRS material. DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. New Guinea and Queensland ( Australia) east to Society Islands, 0–3000 m. Freshwater, transitional water and marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang as Anguilla bicolor pacifica by Ege (1939: 216). DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Philippines east to Palau, north to Taiwan, south to Papua New Guinea, 0–3000 m. Freshwater, transitional water and marine.
