STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang, based on specimens collected at St. CTR 17. ANSP and NTUM material (ANSP 124455; NTUM 10217).
DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. East Africa (south to southern Mozambique) east to Mariana and Marquesas islands, north to Ryukyu Islands, south to New Caledonia and Loyalty Islands. Found buried in sand or coral gravel bottom, 0– 15 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang by Herre (1933: 12).
DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. East Africa east to Marshall Islands and Samoa, north to Ryukyu Islands, south to Queensland ( Australia) and New Caledonia. Found buried in sand or coral gravel bottom, 0– 10 m. Freshwater, transitional water and marine.
