30. Parvisquama ciliata (Malloch)

Lispocephala ciliata Malloch, 1929b: 393 . Holotype male, Station 9 [= surroundings of Lake Rana], Buru Island, in ZMAN ( Pont 1970b: 82).

Diagnosis. Postpedicel mainly dark, orange in basal half or less; palpus dark brown; scutum densely grey pollinose, with very faint vittae; mid femur with the posteroventral ground-setulae in apical half remaining short and setulose; sternite 5 of male with the posterior lobes elongate, pointed, and with a dense fringe of short hairs along inner surface ( Snyder 1965: fig. 7a); surstylus with the tiny setulae on disc confined to apical quarter ( Snyder 1965: fig. 8c).

Comments. The species was first recorded from Vanuatu (as New Hebrides) by Snyder (1965).

Distribution. Buru, Indonesia (Maluku), Caroline Is ( Belau, Truk, Caroline Atolls), Solomon Is, Vanuatu; Peninsular Malaysia.
