Setal lengths: j1 28 (25–32), j3 64 (56–70), j4 5 (4–6), j5 5 (4–5), j6 9 (8–12), J5 8 (8–9), z2 39 (32–41), z4 25 (18–32), z5 5 (3–6), Z1 21 (17–25), Z4 113 (103–129), Z5 94 (82–108), s4 100 (92–105), S2 18 (14–23), S4 12 (10–13), S5 10 (8–13), r3 19 (17–23) and R1 10 (9–11). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 58 (54–62), st2–st2 76 (73–79), st5–st5 96 (87–102). Ventrianal shield 109 (99–116) long, 114 (107–118) wide at level of Zv2 and 79 (71–85) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx saccular, 17 (14–19) long; atrium nodular. Fixed cheliceral digit 30 (29–31) long, with three teeth; movable digit 32 long, with one tooth. Macrosetae on legs II–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeII 28 (23–31), SgeIII 23 (20–32), SgeIV 55 (50–59), StiIII 18 (15–19), StiIV 38 (35–43) and StIV 83 (76–86) .

Remarks. The measurements are similar to those of the redescription of P. ovatus and P. cannaensis by Moraes & McMurtry (1983). This is the only Proprioseiopsis species in Brazil with few teeth on the fixed cheliceral digit.
