Specimens measured. SP (7).

Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral striae, 332 (328–367) long and 217 (198–240) wide. Setal lengths: j1 17 (14–18), j3 29 (28–32), j4 7 (6–8), j5 7 (6–7), j6 9 (8–9), J2 9 (8–10), J5 8 (7–9), z2 7 (7–9), z4 8 (6–9), z5 7 (6–8), Z1 9 (7–10), Z4 87 (85–92), Z5 164 (132–195), s4 43 (42–45), S2 9 (7–9), S4 9 (8–9), S5 7 (7–8), r3 10 (8–11) and R1 10 (9–11). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 64 (55–70), st2–st2 65 (63–69), st5–st5 74 (67–79). Sternal and ventrianal shields lightly striate. Ventrianal shield 113 (108–120) long, 112 (108–116) wide at level of Zv2 and 95 (85–95) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx bell-shaped, 15 (12–19) long; atrium nodular. Fixed cheliceral digit 35 (32–37) long, with eight teeth; movable digit 30 (30–31) long, with three teeth. Macrosetae of legs I–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeI 27 (24–28), SgeII 25 (23–27), SgeIII 29 (28–30), SgeIV 69 (67–75), StiIII 22 (19–23), StiIV 33 (25–34) and StIV 47 (48–52) .

Distribution in Brazil. Minas Gerais (Silva et al., 2010), Rio Grande do Sul ( Rocha et al., 2020) and São Paulo ( Karg, 1983; Demite et al., 2011, 2012, 2013; Romero et al., 2011; Mineiro et al., 2012; Mineiro & Souza- Filho, 2019).

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil. The measurements are similar to those of the original description and of the redescription by Denmark & Muma (1989). Seta Zv3 indicated as absent in the original description and in Denmark & Muma (1989).
