Specimen measured. SP (1, holotype)
Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with light posteromedian striae, 425 long and 320 wide. Setal lengths: j1 28, j3 40, j4 6, j5 5, j6 7, J2 5, J5 5, z2 7, z4 7, z5 5, Z1 10, Z4 147, Z5 212, s4 125, S2 8, S4 8, S5 7, r3 and R1 not distinguishable. Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 60, st2–st2 80, st5–st5 90. Ventrianal shield 150 long, 100 wide at level of Zv2 and 95 at anus level. Spermathecal calyx cone-shaped, 8 long; atrium inconspicuous. Fixed cheliceral digit 30 long, with ten teeth; movable digit 40 long, with three teeth. Macrosetae of legs I–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeI 35, SgeII 35, SgeIII 43, SgeIV 120, StiIII 25, StiIV 83 and StIV 53 .
Distribution in Brazil. São Paulo ( Denmark & Muma, 1989).
Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.
Remarks. Species described from Brazil and known only from the type specimens. Our measurements of the holotype showed that they are similar to those of the original description.
