Specimen measured. AM (1).

Dorsal shield of female smooth, 340 long and 238 wide. Setal lengths: j1 32, j3 37, j4 6, j5 6, j6 7, J2 10, J5 8, z2 13, z4 8, z5 5, Z1 9, Z4 187, Z5 350, s4 150, S2 11, S4 11, S5 9, r3 12 and R1 11. Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 62, st2–st2 79, st5–st5 75. Ventrianal shield 117 long, 89 wide at level of Zv2 and 80 at anus level. Spermathecal calyx saccular to funnel-shaped, flaring in half that is next to vesicle, 25 long; atrium subterminal. Fixed cheliceral digit 27 long, with 13 teeth; movable digit 32 long, with four teeth. Macrosetae of legs I–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeI 47, SgeII 42, SgeIII 63, SgeIV 160, StiIII 42, StiIV 95 and StIV 75 .

Distribution in Brazil. Amazonas ( Cruz et al., 2015).

Distribution elsewhere. Costa Rica, Guadeloupe, Martinique, USA and Venezuela.

Remarks. The measurements are similar to those of the original description and of the redescription by Denmark & Muma (1989).
