Dorsal shield of female reticulate, 366 (305–390) [337] long and 162 (140–170) [150] wide. Setal lengths: j1 13 (9–15) [13], j3 17 (10–19) [15], j4 10 (9–11) [11], j5 11 (9–12) [11], j6 11 (9–12) [13], J2 13 (9–15) [13], J5 10 (7–10) [11], z2 11 (9–13) [10], z4 14 (10–15) [13], z5 11 (9–12) [10], Z1 11 (10–14) [13], Z4 19 (13–22) [20], Z5 71 (50–79) [77], s4 19 (11–18) [15], S2 15 (12–16) [15], S4 24 (21–28) [20], S5 23 (15–26) [20], r3 15 (11–16) [16] and R1 14 (10–15) [10]. Peritreme extending forward almost to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 83 (80–85) [80], st2–st2 55 (48–53) [52], st5–st5 61 (52–62) [56]. Ventrianal shield 115 (97–120) [110] long, 98 (77–105) [92] wide at level of Zv2 and 88 (69–91) [87] wide at anus level; a pair of elliptical pre-anal pores posteromesad to Jv2. Spermathecal calyx cup-shaped, 5 (5–6) long; atrium nodular. Fixed cheliceral digit 29 (28–29) long, with nine teeth; movable digit 31 long, with two teeth. Macroseta only on basitarsus IV, sharp-tipped; StIV 41 (40–43) [35] .
Distribution in Brazil. Alagoas ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Bahia ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Ceará ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Maranhão ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Pará ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Paraíba ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Pernambuco ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008; Famah Sourassou et al., 2012; França-Beltr„o et al., 2023) and Rio Grande do Norte ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008).
Distribution elsewhere. Algeria, Benin, Burundi, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, India, Kenya, Mozambique, Panama, Reunion Island, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tanzania and Thailand.
Remarks. The measurements of the specimens examined are similar to those of the redescription of N. baraki by Famah Sourassou et al. (2012).
