According to Famah Sourassou et al. (2011), dorsal shield of female mostly reticulate, 340 (336–349) long and 138 (127–143) wide. Setal lengths: j1 10 (10–11), j3 10 (8–11), j4 9 (10–12), j5 9 (8–10), j6 9 (8–10), J2 10 (10–11), J5 9 (9–10), z2 9 (9–10), z4 10 (10–11), z5 9 (7–10), Z1 10 (9–12), Z4 16 (15–17), Z5 52 (51–55), s4 11 (10–12), S2 12 (11–14), S4 14 (14–16), S5 19 (18–20), r3 11 (11–14) and R1 10 (9–11). Peritreme extending to level between j1 and j3. Distances between st1–st3 80 (79–83), st2–st2 52 (51–57), st5–st5 57 (54–60). Ventrianal shield 102 (95–108) long, 82 (79–86) wide at level of Zv2 and 73 (70–76) wide at anus level; a pair of rounded pre-anal pores posteromesad to Jv2. Spermathecal calyx cup-shaped, 8 (6–9) long; atrium nodular. Fixed cheliceral digit 18 (17–19) long, with six teeth; movable digit 23 (21–25) long, with 1–2 teeth. Macroseta only on basitarsus IV, sharp-tipped; StIV 17 (16–19) .
Distribution in Brazil. Alagoas ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Bahia ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Ceará ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Maranhão ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Pará ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Paraíba ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Pernambuco ( Famah Sourassou et al., 2011), Piauí ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008), Rio Grande do Norte ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008) and Sergipe ( Lawson-Balagbo et al., 2008).
Distribution elsewhere. Benin, Cuba, Ghana, Guadeloupe, India, Iran, Jamaica, Oman, Philippines, Reunion Island, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia and USA.
