According to De Leon (1966), dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral striae, 317 long and 185 wide. Setal lengths: j1 22, j3 26, j4 9, j5 8, j6 11, J2 12, J5 7, z2 11, z4 10, z5 8, Z1 11, Z4 11, Z5 63, s4 31, S2 13, S4 11, S5 8. Peritreme extending to level of j1. Ventrianal shield 99 long and 54 wide at level of Zv2. Spermathecal calyx tubular, distinctly constricted next to atrium, flaring toward vesicle, 21 long; atrium elongate. Fixed cheliceral digit 31 long, with ten teeth; movable digit with four teeth. Macrosetae on legs I–IV, sharp-tipped; SgeI 36, SgeII 25, SgeIII 28, SgeIV 58, StiIV 28 and StIV 75 .

Distribution in Brazil. Not reported locality ( Byrne, 1983) and Mato Grosso ( Murphy, 1984).

Distribution elsewhere. Colombia, Costa Rica, Guyana, Honduras, Suriname and Trinidad.

Remark. Specimens collected from Brazil were not examined.
