(1990, 1993, 1994) as Amblyseius limonicus , Typhlodromalus limonicus , A. limonicus s.l. or T. limonicus s.l. were reidentified as Amblydromalus (cited as Typhlodromalus ) manihoti by Moraes et al. (1994). No setal measurements are given in the original description of A. limonicus . Moraes et al. (1994) provided key characters to separate A. limonicus from other related species, and the measurements of the specimens examined in this work are similar to those given in that publication.
