Material studied: GREECE, many specimens collected by S. Gounari off Pinus halepensis on the mainland: from Ymittos mts near Athens; Thessaloniki ; Chelmos Mt. ; Vitina , and Kassandra and Silhonia , Chalkidiki ; also from the island of Evia. Also off Pinus brutia from Heraklion and Lasithi , Crete. Ad ♀♀: April & May (14 specimens); 3rd ♀♀: Aug– Dec. (21 specimens); 2ndinstar nymphs: Sept.–Nov. (25 specimens); 1stinstar nymphs: May–Sept. (28 specimens); ad ♂♂: April (2 specimens); prepupa (3rdinstar ♂): none; and pupae (4thinstar ♂♂): Feb. & March (4 specimens) ( USDA; BMNH) .
