Leucospis tricolor is also recorded from the Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania (mainland, Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Four species of Megachilidae are known as hosts ( Pachyanthidium bicolor (LEPELETIER DE SAINT- FARGEAU, 1841), Pachyanthidium cordatum (SMITH, 1854) , Pseudoanthidium truncatum (SMITH, 1854) and Serapista denticulata (SMITH, 1854)) , of which only Pseudoanthidium truncatum is recorded from Eritrea ( MADL 2019: 1386).
