BRAZIL: State of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre; 17 January 2009; M. Valls. Host: Polybetes pythagoricus (Holmberg) (Sparassidae) , adult female. The wasp pulled the paralyzed huntsman spider backwards through grass, grasping its left chelicera with her mandibles ( Valls 2009).
BRAZIL: State of Rio de Janeiro, Paraty ; 26 September 2009; D. Atuy. Host: Unidentified species ( Sparassidae ), adult female. The wasp attacked the huntsman spider, paralyzed it by stinging, and examined it with her antennae as it laid both ventral and, after she rearranged it, dorsal side upward ( Atuy 2009) .
BRAZIL: State of S„o Paulo, Municipality of S„o Paulo; 31 January 2010; S. Santos Freire. Host: Unidentified species ( Sparassidae ), juvenile male. The wasp stung and paralyzed the huntsman spider, leaving it lying dorsal side upward on the ground. She then rested beside it ( Santos Freire 2010) .
