CUBA: Mayabeque Province, Jibacoa; posted 15 March 2018; S. Dorey (xlacquer). Host:? Phormictopus sp. ( Theraphosidae ), adult female. The wasp stood near the left side of the tarantula, on the ground, as it reared up in a defensive posture ( Dorey 2018).
CUBA: La Habana Province, La Habana (Havana); 12 November 2008; M. Moya. Host:? Phormictopus sp., adult female. The wasp pulled the paralyzed tarantula on the ground, ventral side upward, grasping its left pedipalp with her mandibles ( Moya 2014) .
CUBA: No locality; 11 July 2014; A. R. Barallobre. Host:? Phormictopus sp. ( Theraphosidae ), adult female. The wasp pulled the paralyzed tarantula backwards on the ground, ventral side upward, grasping its left foreleg midway from the end with her mandibles ( Barallobre 2014).
PUERTO RICO: Moca; 9 March 2019; Aventuras de Mayi. Host: Cyrtopholis cf portoricae Chamberlin (Puerto Rican brown tarantula) ( Theraphosidae ), adult or subadult female. A short video shows the wasp emerge from the tarantula’s burrow, from underneath the paralyzed tarantula that laid dorsal side upward over the burrow entrance and attempt to maneuver it into its burrow, grasping the base of its left foreleg with her mandibles ( Aventuras de Mayi 2019).
