Specimens examined: Site 99­26, 2 females.

Armascirus lebowensis was described from the Transvaal ( Den Heyer, 1978) and has not been reported since. The Cunaxidae are predatory, and a few species have been found to be beneficial in horticultural situations ( Gerson & Smiley, 1990; Gerson et al., 2003). This species is not known from Australia ( Halliday, 1998, 2001b).
