Cheiroseius necorniger (Oudemans)

Hypoaspis necorniger Oudemans 1903: 87 . Sejus necorniger: Evans & Hyatt, 1960: 55 . Cheiroseius necorniger: Karg, 1981b: 58 .

Specimens examined: Site 9413, 1 female.

Cheiroseius necorniger was described from Germany and occurs in other areas of Europe, and has been recorded from Transvaal ( Evans & Hyatt, 1960). Apart from the single specimen of C. necorniger , the genus Cheiroseius is represented in the present survey by a further two specimens (from Sites 9428 and 941) belonging to two different species, which cannot be identified because of the poor quality of the specimens.
