Notes

Authority: Olivier 1790; Not from Sri Lanka: An error resulting from Cicada viridis (Fabricius, 1803) being synonymised in error with, and thereby linking the distributions of Cicada atrovirens Guérin-Méneville, 1838 and Chremistica mixta (Kirby, 1891) by Distant (1892a). Of these only Chremistica mixta (Kirby, 1891) is from Sri Lanka.
