Distribution. Mediterranean Sea watersheds.
Conservation. IUCN: Global ( LC: 31 January 2006); Med. (NE). Capture and threats: HAB, Unknown. Occurrence: Very rare. Significant decline in the last two decades. High priority for conservation action .
