Distribution. Western Baltic Sea, North Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Sea of Marmara, Black Sea, eastern Atlantic: Trondheim ( Norway) south to Angola.
Conservation. IUCN: Global ( LC: 16 March 2014); Med. ( LC: 27 February 2008). Capture and threats: FIB, unknown. Occurrence: Rare. Low priority for conservation action .
