Endoplocus Cox, 1954
status

Genus Endoplocus Cox, 1954 View in CoL

Type species.

Actaeon staszycii Zeuschner, 1849; Tithonian; Poland.

Remarks.

Cox (1954) reported that this genus is characterized by having 4-5 plaits (2 columellar, 1 parietal, and 1-2 palatal plaits). The present species assigned to Endoplocus shows only three plaits: two columellar and one parietal plait. The apparent lack of palatal plaits could be due to preservation.
