Type species: Julus schioedtei Verhoeff, 1898 View in CoL , by monotypy
Included species

Allopodoiulus verhoeffi ( Jawłowski, 1931)
Diagnosis. A member of the tribe Leptoiulini sensu Evsyukov et al. (2020) , unique in the presence of posterior coxal processes on leg pair 7 in males. These processes are absent in all other leptoiulinine genera.
In addition, the following combination of characters of males can be used to distinguish this genus from other leptoiulinine genera: gnathochilarium modified, with different texture, furrowed and nipplelike, in distal parts of the stipites and presence of a pair of bundles of long setae; leg pair 2 with anterior and posterior coxal processes and anterobasal coxal gland openings; gonopods with strongly developed distal opisthomeral lobe, phylacum poorly developed, solenomere opens anteriad.
