Pap[ilio] Dan[aus] Cand[idus] pyrrha Cramer, 1775: 97 , 154, pl.63, figs A, B [original plate 83, figs B, B] (junior homonym of Papilio pyrrha Fabricius, 1775 [Acraeinae] – ICZN Opinion 516). Surinam (L.Juliaans).

Material examined. No potential Cramer specimens located.

Remarks. The specimen figured was designated lectotype of Papilio pyrrha Cramer, 1775 , and also Perrhybris eueidias Hübner, [1819] , by Hemming (1964b).

Current status. Invalid senior synonym of Perrhybris pamela (Stoll, 1780) ( Lamas, 2004b) .
