Pap[ilio] Dan[aus] Cand[idus] aenippe, Cramer, 1777: 95 , pl.157, figs C, D [original plate 128, figs C, C]. China and Java (figured specimen from coll. Baron Rengers). Described as the male of Papilio aenippe Cramer, 1777 [misidentification, illustration shows the Javan Ixias venilia (Godart) ].
