Diagnosis. Plato striatus is diagnosed by the atypical small, arrow-shaped, recurved conductor apophysis (fig. 18B), and the sinuous, tapered distal embolic apophysis (fig. 18C–E).

Description. Male described by Prete, Cizauskas & Brescovit, 2018: 136.

Female. Unknown.

Distribution. Known only from a cave in Parauapebas, Pará, Brazil and now in the Department of Amazonas, Colombia (fig. 23).
