Lectotype (Stearn in Davis, Fl. Turkey 6: 159. 1978): Herb. Clifford: 76, Nerium 1 β (BM-000558145).

Generitype of Nerium Linnaeus (vide Steudel, Nom. 1: 553. 1821).

Current name: Nerium oleander L. ( Apocynaceae ).
