Type locality. Callao, Peru.

Remarks. The type locality has recently been fixed as Callao, Peru ( Sanborn 2014). The species is recorded from Argentina, Paraguay, and Peru ( Metcalf 1963c; Sanborn 2011a) but the records from Paraguay need to be confirmed ( Sanborn 2014).
