Type locality. Brazil.
Remarks. The species previously was reported from Brazil and Bolivia ( Metcalf 1963c). We collected our specimens at several sites in Misiones Province. The species was collected in the understory of the Paranense floristic province ( Sanborn et al. 2011a).
