Body color yellow ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–15 ). Antennal segment III with setae shorter than the length of the segment. Dorsal setae slightly expanded emerging from tubercles ( Fig. 39 View FIGURES 22–42 ). Pronotum with no sclerotized blotch. Abdominal tergite II with no spiracles; segments IX–X with setae simple with pointed apex; segment X with six anal setae about as long as or a little longer than the length of the segment ( Fig. 39 View FIGURES 22–42 ). Spiracles on mesonotum with one or no pore on facet ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 22–42 ); on tergite VIII transverse and with no pores ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 22–42 ). Immatures from large populations have been collected from orchids in protected cultivations in the state of São Paulo, Brazil (CHNUFPI).
