Carnarvoncochlea exigua ( Ponder & Clark, 1990)

Jardinella exigua Ponder & Clark, 1990: 338 , figs. 6E, 9B, 27A–E, 28A–C, 29A, F, 30A, B.

Remarks. The original material was collected in small springs flowing from the hillside ca 1.2 km NE and 2.5 km NW of Dooloogarah HS, S of Carnarvon Gorge NP.

Additional material has been collected from springs on nearby Carnarvon Station ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ), by W. Ponder and party, 18 Apr 2007, namely Fig Tree Spring, 24° 56' 38" S, 147° 57' 30" E, (C.488584, C.488266), Ti Tree Spring, 24° 47' 13" S, 147° 40' 41" E (C.488585), Long Gully Spring, 24° 47' 12" S, 147° 40' 21" E (C.488583), and Orange Tree Spring, 24° 46' 44" S, 147° 39' 33" E (C.488586, C.488267). This material closely resembles the original material in shell characters but has not been examined anatomically.
