Material: 2 ♂, 2 Ψ ( SMF), China, Quinghai Prov., Koko Nor Lake, southern shore, near Heimane, 3200–3250 m, 9.–21.VI.1996, leg. J. Martens.

Taxonomic remarks. According to its genitalic structure, this species certainly belongs to the genus Tchatkalophantes Tanasevitch 2001 , being clearly defined by the shape of the epigynal pseudoscape: it is widened at the base and narrowed distad, vice versa in other congeners (see Tanasevitch 2001).
