Current name: Hordeum distichon L. ( Poaceae ).

Note: The varietal epithet was spelled “dist.nudum” [ “dist.” = “distichon”] in the protologue. This was later corrected (Linnaeus, Sp. Pl., ed. 2, 1: 125. 1762) to “nudum”. As is established custom, the “distichon” is to be ignored under Art. 23.8 and Ex. 19.
