Basionym:— Anastrophyllum bidens var. aristatum Herzog ex N.Kitag., J. Hattori Bot. Lab. 33: 216, 1970 ( Kitagawa 1970).

Type :—BORNEO. Sarawak: Dulit Ridge, 1300 m, on tree-trunk, P . W . Richards 1908 (holotype JE!) .
