Remarks

This is a common species with a wide distribution from the western Indian Ocean to Hawaii ( Griffin and Tranter 1986; 147), although it has not been previously recorded from Hong Kong. The gonopod1 structure of the male specimen is diagnostic (cf. Griffin and Tranter 1986; Fig. 42h, I).
