Remarks
The genus Epiactaea Serène, 1984 , was established for three species, Actaea bullifera Alcock, 1898 , Actaea margaritifera Odhner, 1925 , and Actaea nodulosa White, 1848 (type species). The most often reported is E. nodulosa ( Actaea pisigera Nobili, 1905 , is a subjective synonym) which has been recorded from various parts of the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia. Its presence in Hong Kong and China is, however, new.
