C. plumeriae was reported from the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, northern South America and the USA (Florida and Hawaii). It has also been reported from Micronesia, a green house in Canada (Farr et al. 2004), and Nigeria (Hernandez et al. 2005a, b). This is the first report of C. plumeriae from Panama.
