Transversotrema View in CoL sp. C

Transversotrematids similar to T. licinum have been found from Chaetodon lineolatus , C. lunula , C. semeion and C. ulietensis from Palau. Sequences obtained from two individual C lunulatus were most similar to T. borboleta n. sp. from Lizard Island. Morphological examination shows that they are similar to T. borboleta n. sp. G1 which is found from chaetodontids and lutjanids. Overall the molecular and morphological samples of this species are insufficient to allow it to be described.
