Measurements: Male 9.4–9.6mm long.
Ochraceous. Crown with submarginal red arcuate transverse band between ocelli interrupted medially and surrounding ocelli laterally, one pair of transverse brownish-red markings at posterior margin. Face with a submarginal arcuate thin band between eye and ocellus orange, scape and pedicel of antennae red. Pronotum yellowish with five more or less red merged markings along anterior margin and three longitudinal stripes on each side on posterior part. Scutellum with one median red longitudinal stripe ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 5 ). Forewing hyaline ochraceous with red veins and markings in basal half base; with brown patches near apex of clavus and apical cells, brown vermiculate markings between veins ( Figs. 1–3 View FIGURES 1 – 5 ).
Male genitalia: Pygophore with segment IX elongate in lateral aspect and gradually narrowed posteriorly, caudal margin slightly truncate, with numerous macrosetae in caudal third ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 15 – 21 ). Segment X long, strongly sclerotized dorsally, with long ventral process extended caudad, curved dorsomesad ( Fig. 16, 18 View FIGURES 15 – 21 ). Subgenital plates broad basally and abruptly narrowed to digitate apex, with many fine setae along lateroapical margin, without macrosetae ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 15 – 21 ). Style with apical apophysis elongate, preapical lobe not prominent ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 15 – 21 ). Connective Y-shaped, stem equal to arms ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 15 – 21 ). Aedeagus articulated with connective; preatrium well developed; dorsal apodeme vestigial; shaft stout, slightly curved dorsad, with wide apical flange; gonopore apical; texture surrounding gonopore granular ( Fig. 17, 19 View FIGURES 15 – 21 ).

Etymology. The name of the new species refers to the ungulate ventral process at the apex of the aedeagal shaft.
