5. Oniella nigronotum View in CoL Li & Chen

Oniella fasciata Li & Chen, 1999: 90.
Description. Color pattern of crown and face as in O. fasciata ; anterior and lateral margin of pronotum yellowish white, other part chocolate-brown; scutellum chocolate-brown, except yellowish white apex; color pattern of forewing as in O. fasciata , but margin of apical angle brown (Figs. 5, 10, 15, 20).
Pygofer dorsal appendage extremely long, distal half thin and curved ventrad ( Fig. 74 View FIGURES 74 – 79 ). Subgenital plate as as long as pygofer, but near the middle area expanded ( Fig. 75 View FIGURES 74 – 79 ). Style apical process elongate, curved laterally; lateral lobe well-developed with group of small setae ( Fig. 79 View FIGURES 74 – 79 ). Connective Y-shaped, arms short than stem ( Fig. 78 View FIGURES 74 – 79 ). Aedeagus expanded obviously at base, with two pairs of slender appendages arising from lateral atrial lobes and curved anteroventrad and posteroventrad, respectively, aedeagal shaft short, curved dorsad ( Figs. 76–77 View FIGURES 74 – 79 ).
Measurements. Male body length 4.5 & 4.8mm, female body length 4.7 & 4.8mm (including wing).
Material examined. 13, China: Yunnan Prov., Jiangcheng, 1100m, 26-October-1982; 13, China: Tibet Prov., Motuo, Didong, 970m, 14-July-1980, coll: Wu Jianyi; 1Ƥ, China: Yunnan Prov., Kunming, Hotspring, 21-April- 1982, coll: Wang Sumei and Zhou Jingruo; 1Ƥ, China: Yunnan Prov., Menga, 18-April-1982, coll: Wang Sumei and Zhou Jingruo.
Distribution. China (Yunnan, Guizhou, Tibet).
Remarks. O. nigronotum can be easily recognized from other species of Oniella by the two pairs of slender processes arising from lateral atrial lobes and curved anteroventrad and posteroventrad, respectively, aedeagal shaft short, curved dorsad.
